They range in price from a bargain £11.50 up to a reasonable £18.
The pair pcitured are probably their most baggiest pair and are from the Red Herring range. The pcitured pair are entitle ‘black roll waist harem pants’ and are great for more casual occasions and really give you that freedom of movement and comfact so typical of traditional harem pants.
Their other items include a slinky, slimmer fitted harem trouser and a few others pairs of slimmer fitting harem pants of varying lengths.
Debenhams have a good mixure of smart to casual harem pants and are well worh a look.

Another online retailer has got on the harem pants bandwagon and started stocking the hottest item this summer.
BooHoo.com have got this pair of harem pants in and we must admit they are one of the classiest pairs we have seen so far.
They have been named the Toko harem pant and they feature subtle lurex stripes not too dissimilar from the popular pinstripe design that is currently under going something of a resurgence this season.

What are dhoti pants?
April 23rd, 2009I’ve seen a few fashion articles mentioning dhoti pants so I thought I’d have a look and see what they actually are.
As far as I can tell they are pretty much the same as harem pants but where as harem pants can be any length dhoti pants tend to be ankle length.
Originally the dhoti was the traditional garment of men’s wear in India. It was a cloth garment worn on the legs that resembles the harem pant popular in the West today.
Harem Pants at the Gym
April 23rd, 2009I’ve just got back to the office from my daily lunch-time trip to the gym and I was pleased to see a few people in attendance where wearing harem pants.
I’ve seen a few wearers attending the more relaxed classes such as yoga and pilates but this was the first time I had noticed anyone wearing harem pants on the exercise machines and today I saw two people wearing them.
One way on the spin bikes working up quite a sweat whilst the other was doing what looked like a core exercise based circuit.
I’ve always thought harem pants would be great for the gym as they are baggy enough to not restrict your range of movement but not too baggy to be an obstruction when using any fitness machines as the woman on the spin bike clearly demonstrated. They are also great for masking your figure if you have been out of the gym a little longer than expected!
This pair here look perfect for the gym as they are made from a soft knit which is 50% cotton and 50% modal. They have a double flat elasticated waistband so you can get changed quick after a session and have a discrete AWS logo under the waistband. The leg cuffs are elasticated as you would expect from a pair of harem pants.
